Death at Louis

i was there on sunday and sum guy hit a tree and they where doing cpr on him and he was emergancy ruched i donno if it was the same guy
 
shit happens....im surprised it doesnt happen more often with younger kids who cant ski yet
 
its different with young kids cause there all going really slow and dont carve this guy was probably carving preaty hard and cut an edge
 
at lakeridge i think it was feb 1, well around then anyways, some school group (10 yr olds or what ever they are), the one girl is going down freeway (its a bleu under the east side chair) anyways, at hte bottom if you dont turn you go into a forest (its right by the road), so she doesnt stop, full speed into the trees, she was a good 10-15 ft in, then hit a tree, and fell over. she was ok, but man she flew into it. good thing she didnt hit a tree right away. but man she got owned.
 
those little kids in school groups should learn how to ski before they go on the big hill they are gonna hurt themself or worst someone else last year at kirby some kid hurt my mom the girl was completeley out of control (tuking) and ran into the back of my moms legs my mom only skis like onnce a year know because of it kids like that should freaking snowplough
 
yeah they really need to enforce people who dont look like they know how to ski going at a medium speed as opposed to people who look like they know how to ski going extremely fast, i know i ski fast, but thats because i have skied for 15 years and raced for 8 of them. its not my skiing fast that causes problems its the people who are just past the begginer stage who are getting comfortable with speed but cant control it. i get so angry when ski patrol and shit yells at me for going fast or going backwards because i am still in control.
 
the gay ski patrol woory about shit like hitting jumps on the hill put dont care about people who ski out of control not to montion the ski patrol all suck at skiing themself
 
Define out of control considering the majority of patrol can't ski anymore themselves.

Perhaps the ski patrol wouldn't be so bad if they could actually do the first aid they were trained to do, but at their recient first aid comp. (presidents cup) they winner scored under 60% on the first aid. Are these really people we want helping us on the hills??
 
how about you get off ski patrols backs. Would you rather not have any at all? when you fall of a jump and break your legs and no one helps you, and you get landed on cause no one knows your down, then you would think about how much they help you.

You kids have no respect for the ski patroll nowadays they arnt against you they are trying to help.
 
yea i read about that in the paper, it was a 58 year old man i think and he was skiing down an intermediate run and hit a tree and the patrolers found him just before they were about to close down.
 
That really sucks. Way too many people ski out of control these days.

To do the guy whos saying things about how the Ski patrol can't ski/suck or whatever... give them a break. I haven't seen a Ski patrol member that was out of control. Sure smoe of them are old school, maybe not amazing skiiers but they're decent. And its better than not having them at all... I mean they do help out ,and unless i'm wrong, they're just volunteers (ski for free, but no uh.. pay?)
 
aprently people said they were going to determine what caused the crash, as they think it could have been a heart attack while going down the hill. (doctors thought)
 
wow thats pretty scary.. what would you do if u were just peacfully sking down the hill and all the sudden you have a hart attack.. how freaky would that be..
