Dearest alta friends

Hey guys, a buddy of mine and I are heading from co, to alta for a few days in febuary. Looking for some local knowledge on where to stay. Looking for somewhere cheap, but since we are bringing our lady friends (claim) we are looking somewhere decent to stay only for a few days.

This is a major longshot too, but we are also looking for some discount tickets. think we can get some through our mountain but anything would help.

PM's are more than welcome, I can't fucking wait to ski alta.
 
if you can drive, stay at red lion inn in salt lake city. check on like expedia or shiz, its a pretty damn decent place with a sweet view for the 60 bucks or so they charge a night.
 
The UAC just got a new round of alta discount tickets. They are 61 bucks there, not great but better than 69. Www.utahavalanchecenter.org
 
yea thanks for the info. we will be driving from steamboat in a truck. does this red lion inn have a shuttle or how far is it from alta? sorry but i am really not familiar at all with the area.
 
i'd say stay at the best western on 7200 south and like 350 west, pretty much right off the freeway. right across the street is trax to get you downtown and the bus stop to take you up every morning plus theres a dennys right by there too
 
I don't know if they do this for Alta, but I know Costco sells booklets of cheap day passes for Park City, Canyons and Deer Valley. Wouldn't hurt to check.
