I am truely embarrassed. I found this on my local ski hill's website. No wonder no one takes the ski industry serious.

TRY PARKING IT: The advent of the “terrain park� has changed the face of skiing for all skiers. A “terrain park� is a series of machine made bumps, jumps, half-pipes, boxes and rails that most ski/board areas now maintain. If you are an advanced beginner/intermediate, take your skills to the park for vast improvement. Try some of the easier “hits� in the park and watch your skiing improve; “parking-it� improves your balance, your stance, your pressure control and your confidence for all types of terrain. Ask your friendly ski school where you can park!!!

Here is an excerpt from a Snowshoe Mountain(ski resort in rurual WV owned by intrawest catering to rich people from DC with somewhat of a good park, but they groom absolutely everythign, and it's really overrated, especially cause of it's $70 lift ticket prices). The except is about their park...

"A revolution is happening and it ain't out west...it isn't even in the northeast...it's at snowshoe moutnains wv with 2 parks to choose from and over 40 rails in the arsenal... we're coming out of nowhere. seee what it's all about...be a part of the movement"

Wow, I never knew that the progression of skiing outside of WV is fake. That cork 810 to rail candide did...just some nerd on photoshop makin stuff up...that zero spin on pyramid by andy mahre, just a figment of your imagination. snowshoe is where progression is progressing. That is where ALL the pros skiers ski. In reality. They arne't coming out of nowhere, they are just in the middle of nowhere trying ot make it sound like they are better than they are...sad.

I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.
