PLEASE DO NOT GET RID OF ELIZEBETHS!!!!!!!
I'm 6"0 187lbs
Demoed a pair of lizzie's and they are the absolute best ski I've ridden, with exception of switch park landings. I have never had as much fun on a ski as I have today, I actually enjoyed carving, I buttered the whole mountain, I slayed the rails, built and sessioned bc kickers.
I was skeptical about trying these as they're only 174(?) but they slay!! I need a pair of these, but sadly, when I get the money they will be all gone. =*(

i might try to get a pair this year before they are gone cuz i have tried em, and love em

Dear Line Skis: if the Chronic was designed around a -2 or -2.5 from true center mount, with core center being there(so current equal flex being moved up about 3.5 or 4cm), it would probably make a real good park ski. Currently, it sucks, because mounting it at -2 makes it carve like shit due to messed up flex pattern. None of your park skis are good at jumps atm, so do this!

It'd make it comparable to good jump skis, and probably be cheaper=salesssss.

for everyone saying that he should look into rockered blends or rockered bacons NO. rocker on hardpack is retarted. the lizzies surfed cuz of the camber and deep as sidecut. they were magical and to think that a ski with half as much effective edge is going to surf down the slopes and through the park is just ignorant

there is no other ski like the lizzie.

I find reverse sidecut skis to be much more "surfy" down smooth groomers than skis with camber and/or sidecut. What's the effective edge of reverse sidecut skis? I bet it's wayy more than half that of lizzies. Lots of rockered park skis are great at the same thing most people who liked lizzies liked them for.

I think Reno Rockers would be a better choice for all the things people do on lizzies.

first of all you dont seem to know the difference between camber and sidecut. reverse sidecut skis are very rare because of how useless they are outside of the deep. the closest thing to one currently produced is the armada arg
here is a reverse sidecut ski
im sure these will be very fun on groomers.......not

Effective edge on lizzies is like 150cm, a bit longer than a 181 Reno Jib (because of the lizzies tips/tails). I bet the effective edge on groomers of ARGs isnt 75cm..

Yeah, because they were in one size maybe?

If that ski was a 180+ i know about a hundred people including myself that would be purchasing a pair immediately. I had the awesome opportunity to ride a pair and they were so much fun but hella sketch purely because of the size.

Nothing in next years line up is gonna be like a Lizzie honestly. Better scoop up a pair by the end of year sales.

how tall are you? the lizzie is intended to ride short like a snowboard but you cant judge the ski like you owul any other park ski. people from 5'7 to 6'3 can all enjoy the lizzies. if you found them sketch you must be 6'7 which is understandable but they are meant to ride short

not calling anyone out, but don't those have a tiny bit of sidecut underfoot?

they do that why i said the closest thing to them are args. the args do have abit of sidecut maybe like 40 cm or so. and reverse sidecut skis are definitely not "surfy" down groomers. they are terrifying

shhhhhhh, stop telling people this, i want a pair for myself :) I also dont want a used pair selling for $400 next year.

ok end thread

I'm 6'4" and i found them sketch on anything but rails and jibs as well as super fun buttering on flats and such. At least a 178 or something? That's all i ask. I understand where they were going with that ski but the people that i know wanted a few cm's too.

At least two sizes.

rocker on hardpack is anything but retarded. ive owned lizzies, ep's, hellbents, and skiied the new kung fujas and seths with rocker. and honestly i dont notice any real negative from having rocker, atleast nothing you cant get over after 2 runs. and they all seem to carve great, and have a super surfey feel.

my ep's are some of the better carving ski's ive ever ridden, they are super fun on groomers, ive got probably 30 days on them in the park hitting jumps up to 50 ft. and as long as your not landing super back seat they are amazing.

i like every ski i mentioned more than the lizzies, i think if the lizzies were like 178 same stiffness, and rockered they would be amazing.

I do know the difference, and ARGs and L138s have a tiny sidecut for a bit of the ski. Reverse sidecut skis are far from worthless outside of pow. Spatulas, for every ski in that length as comparison, might be the best crud/rain crust skis ever, and they are full reverse.

Praxis Pows and Moment Donner Parties are both true reverse, ARGs technically aren't, and yes, there is such thing as a true reverse sidecut ski..

Back to what I think started the conversation- groomers. I think reverse sidecut skis are fun on smooth groomers because you can go down sideways and maintain speed(then really dig in to stop). This is probably the most fun I could have on a smooth groomer with any ski outside of park.

They're not rare either. I've ran into people with ARGs, Spatulas and demoing L138s the past two days that I was on my L138s, and they weren't the most epic pow days or anything..
