Most likely going to cop some shit for this, but the Australian/UK SAS would easily take the rangers and probably give the SEALS a run for their money.
 
kinda odd that they said the battle had to happen in korea. Kinda defeats the whole point of the show.

it doesn't matter because on "One Man Army" an arms professional ( some goofy as kid who knows alot about different guns and can shoot them well. Beat the Veteran Delta Force Special Ops guy in every mission. I always thought our Special ops guys the best of the best, were almost like super human trained that could just beat anyone at anything. sorely disappointed.
 
nah. they are just dudes who have the ability to withstand lots of mental and physical pain, and have a pretty high fitness level. This says nothing about their coordination or overall athletic ability.

If we decided to enlist every american professional athlete into the special forces, we would wreck shit...because they actually would be genetic freaks behind the trigger.

it says it is not known if it can carry a nuclear warhead AKA if cant. the delivery systems are really fucking difficult to do correctly, consistently.

And NK isnt gonna touch Hawaii. There is nothing there that would be worth hitting. Okay they blow up a few ships with very few(relativly) casualties, we send 2 nukes over and destroy their 2 population centers...game over.

their military is a joke.
 
there's a difference between beating them on a TV show in a controlled environment and doing it out in real combat.

Honestly though, regardless of their training/experience...it's not like these guys are invincible. They can be killed just like anyone else. The difference is that it'll be harder to accomplish that feat for the enemy, and he'll probably bring a few of you with him.
 
I think its funny how after all the media attention Navy SEALs are now like the end all super human warriors. Ive never been to a selection so im not going to say one is harder than the other, but I have a feeling they are all quite similar. Lots of smoking, no sleep, and very cold/hot.
 
So BUDS is harder then Ranger, SFQC, Combat Diver? Based on what? The discovery channel?

You have no clue what you are talking about.

Have you been through Ranger School? RIP/RASP? or even spent a day in Regiment?

Rangers are not Special Forces

SEALs are not Special Forces

Force Recon are not Special Forces

Special Forces are Special Forces.

Ranger School and BUDS are not the same thing.

Ranger School is the best combat leadership in the world. It trains and tests ground force leaders in stressful combat situations. They induce stress by combining intense physical requirements, with sleep and food deprivation. Almost all students experience hallucinations from lack of sleep and food.

They feed you aprox 10,000 cal a day at BUDS.

I would not want to be on a SEAL team.
 
naw basing this on a family friend who went to and failed BUDS 2 times before passing the 3rd, and was also in MARSOC.

My main point in all of this is that special forces dudes are guys who have extreme tolerance to mental and physical pain, and are in super good shape. After that, they are slightly above average.
 
I dont think people understand the difference b/w special operations forces and special forces. They also dont get each group has different mission capabilities so its impossible to say "whos better"
