I just did it after months of saying I would and it feels really really really good. When you deactivate it though it tries to like guilt trip you into not doing it. It has a list of your close friends and pictures of you with them, say you were tagged in a picture with your best friend, it has that picture and says "Ian will miss you, Send a message to Ian?"
such a very strange thing.
I will probably get back on when I meet a girl I like or if I really need it but as of now the only social networking I do is NS if that is even considered social networking.

Deacitvating your facebook means nothing. It becomes active again the second you enter your email and password again. It's not like you deleted your account or anything.
 
To all you who've perma deleted yours, how do you function? There are those times where fb is requisite. Like for scoping girls, finding events to go to', and having friends overseas. How do you solve those?
 
Call your friends... I have permanently deleted my facebook page since months and I am still socially alive. Facebook is just a waste of time for most of us and is just another step in the wrong direction society is taking. All the new inventions and innovations are just pushing the human to avoid social contacts.
 
I agree. It's another distraction from ourselves and the world around us.The only thing that's keeping me from deleting mine is one of my girlfriends in Denmark. I guess we could just skype and email. Maybe we'll talk, idk.
 
I've wanted to delete mine for a while now because of the ignorant little fucks on there, but it's what I use to talk to my best friend of 14 years....so haven't yet.
 
I deactivated mine at the beginning of the month. It's just a fucking time vampire and I find myself staring blankly at the new feed most of the time, rather than actually communicating with anyone.

The only downside I've noticed is the increased difficulty in finding a ride to the hill.
 
I guess... Maybe it's an optical illusion but her tummy doesn't seem to be very tight... Maybe it's the weird bikini thing...
