DEA to classify CBD oil as Scheduele 1

It's the incompetence wafting from your posts that implies the utter lack of understanding I referenced.

We all have to start somewhere though :)

hahaha impressive vocabulary! I hope you speak like that in your daily life, those weirdos are hilarious to have a conversation with. Although if you don't your obvious goal is to appear intellectual on a skiing website... I'm not sure which is worse.

Anyways I'll ask again, what specifically did I say about the FDA? Find it, I'm actually curious.

Note that synthetic analogs of THC/CBD are on the market. and they have a very similar safety and efficacy profile to the naturally derived product... yet they are not classified as schedule 1, and many are FDA approved... so what the difference? good question...

Can't patent a plant!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the single main reason MJ and its constituents are still S1 is the lobbying money pumped in from pharma companies, as well as others, to keep it that way.

Where did I say you said anything about the FDA? You're a broken record that keeps skipping.

Also, I generally don't need to try and appear smart... Kinda like how Rob Gronkowski doesn't need to try and appear big ;)

My first comment in this thread was me making fun of you/ your comment with no contribution to the thread subject. But then you called out my understanding of the FDA. So, I would love to know, what gave you the idea I'm uneducated on the FDA?

I can't wait to hear what your credentials are.....

Already covered that in a post you quoted. Forgot already? I guess I was proved right.

Y the hate towards the pharma industry? Sooner or later weed will be in that boat. CBD oil isn't even that good. I've done oxy and cbd and OxyContin is a lot better. And I know ppl will get mad about me saying this, but simply the ppl that talk the most shut about OxyContin have never done it

Probably because 1 in 3 people who are prescribed opioids become dependent on them. Oxy fucks you up. CBD doesn't.

Oxy has way more side effects. such as constipation and potentially out of control addiction. No doubt, sometimes you need oxy but it should be your last resort when it comes to pain.

I needed oxys earlier this year for about a week or so immediately after knee surgery but i switched to cbd asap. Opiates are no joke, I've lost way too many people to them and ive watched even more people set their lives back at least a few years chasing the dragon. Always starts with percs, oxys, etc..

Sure cbd isnt as strong but you aren't debilitated by it either so long as you use responsibly.

I have a friend/old friend who is addicted to xanyx. How do I attempt to get him off of said drug.

thats tough man, sorry to hear that. one of my friends just left for rehab because of xanax and ive watched a few other friends spend years in zanzibar with literally no idea what happened when they get out of it.

I'm no therapist but when i'm around friends who don't know when to stop i just try to get them to do fun stuff that doesn't inherently involve getting fucked up (ie literally anything but shows, parties, bars, wookie camping trips, etc) to show them that you dont need that shit to have a good time. It usually doesn't work very well :(

I took him up skiing a couple weekends ago (he used to ski before he went down the path)

and i had not seen him for about 5 months and well he called me and i could just tell he was on some drugs and he called me like 5 or 6 times asking me what time i was going to pick him up and if we could stop at his friends house to pick up his "phone charger". I knew he was lying to me and so finally i was like sure let's go pick up your phone charger and i told him i knew he was lying and he said man you're a good friend and i am sorry i lied and well to cut this short he had to buy xanyx to "sell for money" and at this point i am furious well anyways we go skiing blah blah he's just a total different person can't even produce a sentence without sounding like he is on drugs. and to top it off he didn't give me gas money that he promised because he bought drugs. and then the following week i hungout with a different friend and we were talking about the friend who does xanyx and he said he did the same thing to him the next day after i took him skiing but instead of "selling" them he popped like 5 xanyx right in front of my friend and he just dropped him off terrified for our friends life. TLDR drugs can ruin peoples lives don't do drugs

Damn, that sucks so bad man. One of my best friends has been living in the deep end for a long time if you know what I mean. It sucks because he's burned pretty much all of the friendships that we've had in common and he's been quite the asshole to me in the past but I'm a softy and can't easily abandon people. We only kick it a few times a year now and everytime I'm hopeful that he's figured it out and trying to get clean and I'm always dissapointed.

My brother is a heroin addict so I know exactly what that's like. It sucks! and I'm sorry you had to be involved in that. If there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that there really isn't much you can do to change him. You can only be a friend and try to provide a sense of reality/normalcy to him. Everything else is up to him. There's lots of really good treatment out there nowadays, I hope he gets there and can get back on his feet! Keep your head up dude!

It's a strange world we live in. We care for someone who doesn't care for themselves and we can't really do anything about it so they just go further and further into the deep end until they can't get back to reality...
