I go to American and the city is about to implode. Barely anyone can get cell service no matter their provider because of the volume of calls coming in and out of the city. I havent had service since friday. They're expecting over 600,000 thousand people to use the metro system which normally supports 200,000 daily. The lines and traffic are insane too! Me and a few of my friends are going to go to the inaugural, though to get anywhere near it we'll have to leave at 3 in the morning (its 2.5 miles away) for the ceremony at 11. Also whats scary is the idea of if something bad were to go down.There would be people running everywhere none being able to call anywhere, and people would probably be trampled/ killed.
 
the logistics involved in hosting the inaugural must be confounding... a serious headache for anyone involved.

and yea, if shit goes down, hell will break loose.
 
i heard that the security was numbering around 40,000 people. i also heard that 1 out of every 100 people is going to be security from another source
 
Jeez that's a scary thought man...imagine a zombie outbreak, everyone would scatter and run and fucking hell all over the place. Don't mention terrorism though, only positive vibes here.
 
you know what i heard, the inaugural will have the largest number of porti potty's ever amassed in one area EVER...

yeah, that just blew your mind, imagine trying to keep those bastards clean, and serviced... sounds like a lucrative contract to be in on if you were in the porti potty business...
 
I would rent a uhaul, a generator, 20 microwaves, 2 mexicans at $2 / hour and sell 10,000 hot pockets for $5 a piece. I haven't done the math, but pretty sure I'd be a millionaire.

but yeah, so many local people have left town just because its filled with so many people right now you cant really do anything. and the world is ending in like 10 hours.
 
You seriously would wait 8 hours in traffic to go 2.5 miles? fucking walk jesus christ.
 
your right, but the pottis are outside the area where you need a ticket to get in. my parents have tickets and they were told in a letter or something that they need to be prepared to stand in the same spot for a minimum amount of 3 hours and they cannot bring any liquids or food and no rain jackets... so there will be a ton of people prolly just peeing themselves haha
