that was super cool.
just for fun i tried weighing the pros and cons of this vs. [park] skiing, heres what i found:
- warm weather is a definite pro
- you get to hang out at the beach, about = to hanging out at wicked mountains
- tricks look just as fun, cant really do jumps though ('street' only)
- way less expensive
- lacks the ability to do much else besides tricks; skim boarding without tricks gets bored quickly whereas skiing is still a whole ton of fun when youre out of the terrain park.
that was pointless i guess, but i want to try skim boarding tricks!

tried that when i was 11 and sprained my ankle so bad i couldnt walk for the rest of my vacation. never touched one again.

learn how to skimboard. theres literally 2 people that skimboard have landed varial flips* or boardslide kickflips.
