Days of my youth?

Yeah well worth it. I went to see it in whistler last week and it was awsome. Never felt long, and it flowed really well. Not much jib stiff so new schoolers probably won't be interested but there are some crazy lines and the filming is of course top level. I really like the mountaineering in Peru section as that I the area of skiing I want to get into the most. Cheack it out unless your just after skiing in the streets.

ya it was awesome. had a theme that was presesnt throughout the whole movie. it really felt like a complete piece, not just a bunch of individual edits. also what has to be one of the most incredible lines ever filmed finishes the movie.

Fucking awesome. They crushed it out of the park on this one. Starts off with pow/pillow in BC which is solid and super deep. The next scene is just all mtn shredding in Revelstoke, Crested Butte and Snowbord with a guests appearance with Sander Hadley. Easily my favorite segment of the year so far. The Peru scene was really cool, and put a different perspective on ski mountaineering for me. Big mtn skiing in Alaska was incredibly impressive. Markus, Rochard and Cody fucking slayed. That chute that Cody hit was even more epic than the preview made it out to be. MSP seriously stepped up their cinematography as well. A little different than movies of he past, there is less commentary, but more quotes from the athletes that are scattered in the background. Interesting, and in a lot of ways easier to focus on the movie. Still retains the usual ski porn feel that Matchstick has come to be famous for. MSP films was firing on all cylinders.

not comparable to less as far as the context of skiing and how its portrayed. really just felt like a warren miller flick. also kind of dissapointed that after a 2 yr project, this was all they came up with. def not on par with other 2yr projects.

got it on iTunes last night and watched it. Not the best video MSP has put out ever, but had a really awesome vibe. Very relatable to the skier that isn't jaded, and might even make the jaded skier revisit the idea that skiing IS about having fun, in all it's venues. Highlight for me was the inbounds segment. Made me miss inbounds hot laps with friends.

My only complaint: Where the hell is Hoji? I want Hoji!!!! Did he even film with anyone over the past winter?

For hoji, just wait for afterglow from sweetgrass. I'm sure he'll also be in the 4frnt team movie.

Does anyone know the runtime of this movie? Panda Poles is also located in my town and they are gonna be premiering it here soon. Can't wait! Also it's nice since I don't have to drive 3 hrs to see a premiere.
