Day skiing vs night skiing

Night skiing and lapping the park with all ur homies is dope but if I’m not I fucking hate night skiing tons of bus kids and everything is skied up. Skiing first thing in the morning is just so much better condition wise on pretty much all days.

Both have pros and cons imo. Skiing during the day is nice when it’s sunny out but if it’s cloudy and the light is flat it just kinda kills the mood for me at least. Night skiing is pretty fun though, idk why but at least in the park people seem to be a bit more hyped up. However, at my hill the lighting in the park is a bit sketch so some features aren’t really lit up which makes hitting some stuff a bit trickier. Basically, as long as the sun isn’t out I prefer night skiing.

That like trying to compare Dayman vs Nightman. They both kick ass in there own right.

As for your question Day cause my knees cant handle the night ice, some of my best memories are from mobing at night as a grom though

I know exactly where people get the "lapping park at night hits different" cause at times it really is a lot of fun but unless you got clear lens you better be praying its not too cold/windy/snowing cause that's pretty miserable to ski in.

Skiing at night you're pretty much either:

A) Blind

B) Can see totally fine

C) Blind

Idk man, there's just nothing like waking up kinda early knowing you slept well and taking park laps on freshly groomed features with little to no groms and bluebird skies, can't beat it. Also, hitting 20ft+ jumps at night is scary asf and you can't tell me otherwise. And ngl, pretty much every time I've been hurt in the park is at night, could just be that I get lazy and exhausted from staying out all day but still, it's just not the same as day skiing.

There’s also nothing like sleeping in and getting crap done during the day and then heading up to the mountain for that night park sesh, not having to deal with any lift lines, not having to worry about old 1 and done assholes, not having to worry about getting a parking spot, and bonus points if it’s snowing cuz that straight up hits different under the lights and you can’t tell me otherwise

maybe it’s just me tho

Ya I get this. Snowing at night is so sick but obviously only with goggles. Left mine in the car the other day and it just decided to start dumping and I literally could keep my eyes open to hit a rail. Missed opportunity?

idk if this counts as night or day but last chair laps and hiking features at sunset is when I always felt the happiest. Sometimes theres some other dedicated homies out there too just trying to squeeze as much skiing into the day as possible and those hiking sessions are where you throw down the hardest.

I love night skiing because if there is some new powder , but my main resort doesn’t offer night skiing, so I have to go to a janky family run hill with wacky home made rails, but even thought the park has no flow and it’s is almost impossible to jib most of the features correctly, but some of the most fun skiing moments are finding new ways to ski these features with my friends.

This. It's like saying which is better cheeseburgers or burritos? They're both excellent and have their own merits.
