crichton was ridiculous... what happened to him? didn't he get like sick or some abnormality with his spine? i forget, but whatever it was - pretty unfortunate cuz he was so talented.
 
Dave is still my fav skier for sure. Love this part... Yea Dave got sick with crones disease and stopped competing. There was no abnormality with his spine, he just cracked one of the vertebra in his upper back/ neck area in his last year filming, which was no big deal. He also decided to stop skiing to focus on school
 
was this shot over 2 years? cause looking back at that segment..it seems that there are some features from 0203 and 0304 in there
 
Such an absurd segment....zero spin, the switch right 3 and switch 10 were all epic

then you've got the tail grab to fakie on the hip WOW and the air to fakie and 3 in the QP.....MONEY!
 
Easily, EASILY one of the greatest seggies of all time. Compares to Pollard or Belan in Royalty, Seth in Ski Movie 1 or Pep in 1242. Berman gets mad props from me for this redic segment, probably my favorite work I've ever seen of his. Brilliant segment.
 
fuck that guy was so good. switch ten on that aspen jump was so ill way back when and still it.

definately ahead of his time never realized it til watching that.
 
he still goes skiing. but hes more focused on school as Organic says. btw Organic do you sell Organic foods?

when he did the b drop to picnic table jibery, I went out and jumped off as much shit as I could.

dear level 1... go film him doing whatever he does now, it doesnt even have to be skiing, but itll still be fun.
 
Goddamn that zero and 3 on that windells quarter are so steezey. Not to mention that re-tah-ded flat 5 critical at Copper.

wow this makes me even more pissed that i lost my forward dvd. glad to be able to see this segment again though. i miss DC... segment was def far ahead of its time.

I own Level 1's Six Pack and never really appreciated the awesomeness of the older movies in it. This was an outstanding part and will always be remembered. I am gonna go home and watch it
