I left for Montana on a ski trip .. i am flying home and get a message on my phone that some one broke into my house through my window and stole my hdtv, dvd player, ps2, xbox 360, cable box, and all my dvds and games. WTF. like 3 grand in shit. Im most pissed about my dvds... that collection took me years to build.. sucks. There goes my Christmas spirit.

insurance, possibly. that sucks though. and dvd collections do take a long time to get. i hope something good happens to you in the next few days

I went to Whitefish, It used to be called big mountain but they just changed the resort name. It was pretty good skiing, not crowded at all which was nice.

Yeah Im regretting not having that shit now. I talked to my aunt and uncle who are my insurance agents and they seem to think ill be able to get some money back. So thats alittle reassuring.

tell the story! tell the story! thats sick, but bummer to the threadmaker. That really really sucks. I hope you find your stuff, really, and if I can do anything besides giving you money (even though I don't have any) let me know =)

when shit like this happens ask yourself, "did i actually need that stuff?" i guarantee you that when you say that youll feel 1000 times better. just know that fuckerz got some karma headed his way.

I feel for you man. My house mate and I just had all of our tools for bike and moto stolen from our storage about four grand. I hope everthing they try to fix gets broken even worse.

damn dude, that really blows.

people who rob other people really piss me off.

good luck on your insurance claims.

i'm willing to bet money that it is someone you are an acquaintance with someone who's not really close, but knows you had that shit, that's how it usually goes down, it's someone who knows you have the shit, my house got broken into a few years ago and 3 lap tops and my ps2 were stolen, they found out it was the damn kid at circuit city who had our information (address and shit) was the culprit, and he got put away for a long long time, fortunately insurance covered that shit

oh and they probably knew that you'd be gone as well, criminals don't just break into houses HOPING that there will be something valuable in it, any of this make sense?

yeah im a college student and live right near campus. So they knew that most of those houses would be empty with kids gone for winter break.
