I know too many people that have broken softboots. Ski boots are made of hard plastic for a reason.

'And shepherds we shall be, for thee my lord for thee, power hath descended forth from thy hand. That our feet may swiftly carry out thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine patrie, Et fili spiritu sancti'-Boondock Saints

my 1080 boot is a soft boot. any ski boots were made of hard pastice for racers not jibbers

Soft Boots are for park only and beginers who like comfort. If you go above 20mph these boots will feel like sh*t with no energy transmission to the skis.

anyone who buys a softboot is a complete fucking moron. enough said. soft boots (as in flexible) is one thing... but why the hell would you ever want a boot that offered no support or performance?

grant

^Because instead of making you wince in pain when you jam them on, they feel like fuzzy slippers, and you can ollie really high with them because of the flex.

yea but skiing is not just about being in the park all day... yea they may be decent boots for a 'park rat' but skiing is about SKIING not sitting in a park. any boot that is that soft prolly hasx a shit flex which pretty much means that at any higher speeds or at and harder carves, the boots will do shit for you and will perform like absolute shit. which to me means that the boots are worthless. unless you have multiple pairs of boots, one for the park and one for straight up skiing. thats why boots like the 1080s or the pro models do well. they combine comfort with a regular boot that can actually be skiied in. i would never in my life ride a boot like the rossi soft if i went out west and had to ride in like waist high pow. thats just my two cents

I ride soft boots and I like them. For the money they are a great value. and no, I don't get to ride lots of pow, but they serve the purpose I need.

'can you read what that says?'

'donna simma?'

'yes, that's right. now how would that appear in a phone book?'

'simma, donna?'

'that's right now Simma down na!
