Damaged/Broken Look Pivots

At the end of last season on my one binding the semi-circular black plastic piece that provides friction to prevent excessive heel movement popped off. It looks like the three prongs that fit into the metal holes wore down. I can easily put it back on however it pops off when pressure is applied. Has anyone else experienced this? I thought about rigging it back on with glue but I'm worried it will just break off again. I could see if Look will warranty it considering I purchased the bindings in 2011. More or less I just wanted to see if anyone has had this happen and if there are replacement pieces I can acquire or if going to Look is my best option.

Thanks!

Side view of bindings. Broken one has the black bar bent backwards slightly.

I just looked at my bindings and it looks like some sort of rivet that attached the black piece. Looking at yours are they like a plastic rivet or a steel rivet? As far as a repair goes you could maaaybe glue it back down in place with epoxy. I'd definitely be worried about it popping off again; I think that piece plays a role in the forward pressure function of the binding.

If you don't want to repair it or deal with look then buying some used bindings, or these guys should solve your problem:

Thanks. I didn't realize they sold individual pieces like that. It looks like the good binding has some sort of plastic flange/rivet keeping each peg from popping out. I might just buy the piece from evo and move on.

Do you have any experience dealing with Look warranties? My local shop seemed to think they'd be pretty good about replacing it.
