yea boots totally need to be fitted. the other thing, is dont stick to "freestyle" boots. there are tons of other boots out there that fit differently, and may work better for you than these two boots. ig you really wanna get it right, try boots on blindfolded. if you want any kinda shock absorbtion, Dr Scholls gel footboards are the way to go. that way you can save $, get a better fitting boot, and have more options.
