I found this in the Forest Service newsletter. What they propose would be so sweet. A T-bar to the top of Superbowl!! No more paying $10 for a snowcat ride or hiking and facing $500 fine.
'Mt Hood Meadows – Dallas Bowl Surface Lift
The ski resort proposes a Master Plan amendment to build a surface lift to the top of Dallas Bowl. Dallas Bowl is located immediately above the top terminal of Cascade Express. The lift would run up the ridgeline on the south edge of the Bowl. This lift would give skiers better access to the advanced skiing terrain usually only accessible by hiking or when transported by snowcats. The proposal includes transforming the original Cas-cade construction route into a permanent service road to access the top of Cascade for heavy summer maintenance'
