Dalbello Rampage + booster straps help

Has anybody combined Dalbello Rampage with booster straps? If so, I need a bit of help. How did you remove the pre-existing stock strap that the boots came with? I can figure out how to get the back calf piece off, but then there's 2 whole-punch type things that don't work with a screw driver or anything I can find. Any suggestions on how to get this off so I can screw my booster straps in?

yeah I ran into the same problem. I'm not sure how to remove the punches to get the original straps off. I'm also not sure how to reinstall the punches when I install the booster straps. any help?

I am by no means a boot tech but i do have Rampages and it seems to me that the only way to do it would be to drill out the original rivets and then put new ones in through the booster strap. I'm not saying this would be a good idea, it might be, but i don't know.

All the boots I've put boosters into required me drilling through the rivet to remove it and the stock strap. Then, go to homedepot, but a small bolt and a teeth nut (http://goldenlinetrade.com/images/TeethNut.jpg) and screw that new booster strap in. Enjoy shinbang free, super responsive skiing!

Exactly how its done, or you can go to most ski shops and have them put in new pop rivets if you want.
