Dalbello Panterra 100 toe piece getting wrecked

I recently bought some Panterras. They fit amazingly, probably the most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn. After one day on the hill, however, I noticed some serious damage to the toe piece. Just my luck. I ride Marker Griffons (GripWalk) but sometimes when either they eject or when I step out of the binding aggressively, the binding digs into the toe piece. Has anyone had this issue? Is there a fix for this? I’m considering launching my bindings into the ocean where they’ll inevitably end up.

I wouldn’t worry about it, toe pieces get fukd up eventually. Maybe the plastic is soft but it probably won’t affect the way it skis

Yeah they're fine. Panterras are super super comfy but they really don't seem that durable compared to lupos or krypton. They're a weird spot in the dalbello lineup

IMO it's a Marker issue. I've had 2 pairs of Il Moros and a pair of Lupos, all got fucked up by Jesters. My pivots never caused anything like that and my current pair of Il Moros still look almost new at the toe. Still kinda surprised since I thought the only metal part of the Griffons touching the boot was the AFD.

I've had Panterras for 5 years now, at least 250 days and also have worked park crew in them so a lot of walking and kicking ice chunks apart. Yours look worse imo, so real deep gouges. Just put new bottom soles on so ignore how good the white part looks
