Dalbello Lupo Ax 120 vs Lupo Ax Hd 120

Hey Newschoolers. I went searching for new boots for 70% resort and 30% touring. The Dalbello Lupo Ax's (100mm last) fitted the best. I'm just unsure what model would be the best for me. The Ax is much lighter (1800g) which I'd prefer, but I'm worried about durability due to it's lighter Irfran shell. The Lupo Ax Hd is heavier (1960g) but has a Polyamide shell which might be safer.

I do like to jump off decent size cliffs and still love park jumps when there's no powder, therefore I don't want to buy a boot that will break within the first few days.

Has anybody had durability issues with either of these boots? Also does anybody know if it's possible to buy a 130 flex tongue to swap out? Thanks.

Is the walk mode any different? That's the failure point on Lupos. I guess stronger plastic may keep the walk mode lever from blowing out?

Nah I think the walk mode lever is still the same on the 2023 model. Yeah I've also heard a few people complain about that so I found an after market company (Cascade Components) that makes strong levers. Just thought I'd throw out this post incase someone has had any bad experiences with either boot.

I have blown out both walk mode levels on my lupo ax 120s. Evo in Denver was mad chill and had replacements on hand both times and charged me 10$ each
