I'm thinking of getting myself som rampage boots, and i was wondering if any of you have tried this boot and can recommend it? I only ski park

i've also heard that the flex is LOW

it's not as soft as some other park boots out there.

the best way to pick a boot is to be bootfit. let the bootfitter pick the boot for you and don't argue because one boot looks cooler than another.

i've heard that the rampage is just as soft, if not softer than many of the other parkboots... can I get a reply from someone who actually tried the boot..?

seanpistol had the boot douche he now has the krypton pro! get your shit straight before insulting seanpistol or he will piss in your eyes....trust me....

There are 3 flex settings on the rampage, the softest is compareable to most park boots..the stiffest is stiffer.

yeha but u cnat compare them to regular park boots, becuase most do not move with ur leg as you lean forward; these do. so it just feels softer in general becuase it is not a progressive flex. instead of being really soft, then as you flex more they get stiff, they just have a long range medium/soft flex.

i have them, and i like them a lot. the toe buckle comes lose all the time, like after landing a jump. i guess the flex of the boot makes it come off, but its not really a necessary buckle anyway.

they arent the most comfortalbe boots(i had tecnica icon alus before,) but they are still pretty good. i had a couple problems with the shell near the front of my ankle, but it punched out nicely and they are sweet now. my toes get a little sore sometiems on backseat leandings, but over all i love how the boots perform. for me, the soft flex is really nice, even on big jumps. but do get a smaller size because the liner will pack out and they just feel better when they are smaller.

you're a moron.

they can be compared to other park boots because they ARE a park boot. dalbello has the upper hand in my opinion as far as the flex pattern goes.

if the boots aren't comfortable, that's because they don't fucking fit you. if the technicas fit you well, you have a wide foot. since the rampages are narrow, you are a dumbass.

and why would you get a smaller size? becuase the liner is rumored to pack out a shit ton? it doesn't pack out all that much. a few mm at most, and MAYBE half a size.

know what you're talking about before you speak.

it wasn't just an opinion. he was also stating facts that weren't correct.

he was right about the bottom buckle always coming undone, though.

haha oooookkk. well i bought these becuase i used to have 27.5 tecnicas that were too big for me. now i bought 26.5, and they fit. a pressure point started after about 2 months of riding, what am i supposed to do...go back in time a not buy the boots??? i had to fix them. now theyre fine. i feel i should have maybe bought a 25.5 because im in the middle. i was just letting anyone who cares know. and yes, these boots do have a very low hinge and move with ur leg as you lean forward, whats wrong about that? race boots have a high hinge so the transfer your movement right to ur skis making them very responsive. which is the oposite of these......

sorry if i did something wrong...?

the point is that you said you can't compare them to other park boots because they have a low hinge. not a valid argument. now you're brining race boots into the picture and just talking out of your ass.

and you're right about the developing pressure point. obviously you shouldn't have gone back in time and gotten different boots if they felt good at the begining. weird that after two straight months of skiing a pressure point just develops out of nowhere...

i was just trying to make the point that they feel differnt, trying to help describe how the boots feel to the guy who is thinking about buying them.

and back to that, i think they are great boots, if they fit you, i would recomend getting them.

well i bought seans old rampages and i fuckin love them.......i got custom footbeds for them, they are the most unreal boot ive ridden unreal in the park and are comfortable for me all day long.........i have the narrowest heel ever and these boots hold my heel in there perfectly ...... i would def say that they are for someone with a pretty damn narrow foot like myself......the absorb big impacts pretty good too....i overshot a big booter today and i only got a little sting for a few seconds.....they are badass boots and if you have the right foot shape i would def reccomend them.......BTW: SEan thanks playa for the sick deal these things were like brand new

I bought the boots today and I was wondering, all the extra stuff that came with the boot, what is it for?

there are no manual...

i the little silver things change your canting. the half circle black things with the little clip go on the inside of the boot to change the stifness and the other black things go in the back to help adjust canting also i believe.
