Dalbello Krypton Rampage vs. Dalbello Proton 8?

I have the Proton 8. The Krypton is a more expensive / higher end boot.

I don't know how much the Krypton's weigh, but in my opinion the Proton 8 is pretty heavy (for freestyle especially).

I've played with the Krypton Lotus or something like that, its a purple freestyle boot from Dalbello's 07-08 season I think.

That boot was like night and day difference in weight.
 
ive got the proton 8s right now, no complaints but they are def more of an entry all mountain boot compared to the kryptons which are a pro freestyle boot. i wouldnt buy either tho without trying them on first.
 
i got the proton 8 because of its width, there was no way the kryptons were gonna work for me. i really really like the protons. dalbello is quality stuff so its gonna be hard to go wrong with either of them.
 
i have the 07-08 krypton rampage ( a little heavy imo) but the snug fit and comfort level on my foot is unreal. great flex aswell
 
I wear a 10.5 shoe, and a 27.5 in the Proton 8. After breaking them in, my toes have a bit of room to move around. Enough to make me afraid I could get a black toe or some shit.
 
Pretty certain they are very different shaped boots, I would go with whichever fits best. I have Proton 12s and they are sick, Kryptons are way too narrow for me.
