Dalbello fit vs. Full Tilt

I wanted to try on some FTs today, but all I could find at the local shop were some Dalbello Krypton Pros, which were without a doubt the most comfy peices of footwear I've ever worn, but were a little too stiff. How do Full Tilts fit compared to them?
Also the guy at the shop said FTs blow because their little cables snap easily. Is that true?

They were the ones with the liner that wraps around your shin. (I think its called the Intuition Liner, idk)

yah the fit pretty similar to dalbellos but u rly should try em on and go to a store not buy em online to make sure they fit rite.

i have some cheaper dalbellos, dalbello raves, and i love them. i think the kryptons are SICK for all mountain. if your really only doing park then get something less stiff. but if your going to be going everywhere, get the kryptons.

btw, you dont HAVE to get a park boot for park. you ski with what your comfortable with. if you like throwing down in race boots, then ski park in race boots. its your preference. not ours

I found Full Tilts are generally tighter all around. I could crank some of the buckles on the Krypton Cross to the tightest out of the box without crushing my feet. I don't think I'll ever be able to do that my Camos. Both pairs were the same size.

They fit roughly the same, i tried the Il Moros and the Hotdoggers in the same size, only diff is the hotdoggers were slightly narrower on my foot so i went with the Il Moros instead. I think the Il Moros are the sickest boot out there, super soft tongue for pipe and rails, stiffer tongue for jumps and pow. i just go with the stiffer tongue for everything and it works great for me

Thanks for the responses! I read the FTs and Dabellos both have a 98mm last. When I tryed on the Krypton Pros they were a tiny (TINY) bit tight when it came to width, but the guy at the shop said the liner packs out. What kidna of liners do the Dalbellos have compared to FTs? (I'm talking about those fancy wrap liners, not the normal kind)

hey you litle homo hahah. i was doing some "reasearch" and when it comes to full tilts vs. dalbellos i think i would choose full tilts. full tilts model was made before dalbello dalbello only copyed parts of the full tilt like the flexon bumps for even flex and the wrap around edges aand some dalbellos have heat moldable liners. how you said dallbellos are super stiff totally right and it you have a stiff boot for slayin the park it means shin bang and that ruins you season. full tilts have more even flex and softer flex therefore they wont give you as bad shin bang, another thing i like about full tilts is that they are Soooooo fuckin easy to get into all you have to do is pull the tounge all the way down and you just slip right in. and for the people who said that full tilts are more narrow thats only because people with narrower feet would have a chance to fit in them so they arnt to big. if the boot is to narrow its very simple to heat mold them and get the perfect fit. overall full tilts have been described to me as "sex on my feet" haha hope that helps bud.

i tried the FT booters for a day and they were sick, except they were too small on me, but they are deff a comfy fit. and not to stiff.

They are a similiar fit but different. I tried on dalbellos and didnt like them, they felt uncomfortable but I got full tilts and love them. I would try them both on if I were you

they both have a fairly narrow fit but i think dalbello might be a tad wider?
maybe im wrong

wow, these boot threads need to stop.

really, you think full tilts are easier to get into than dal bello, its the same 3 piece shell design both are just as easy. Also, all kryptons are not to stiff for park. he tried on a krypton pro, which would be the stiffer model. Why dont you give the rampage a try seeing as it is the softer park model, or maybe the il moro, but im not a big fan of that top buckle. And you really aren't going to get shin band with a proper fitting boot, stiff or soft.

To the op you really shouldn't be to worried about how stiff the pros were, after riding a week or two they will soften up a bit. And to answer your question about liners packing out. Im pretty sure full tilt uses intuition liners which would be the same as dal bello, so both will pack out equally as fast. In the end it will most likely be a toss up but i'd say try and get into some full tilts because the toe box is smaller so that might be a deterant.

I wouldn't go with the pros because they are expensive as hell. I hear they have fixed the Il Moro strap issue for 2010, so if I can't find any FTs to try on, I'll just go with those

ive had 2 sets of pros and just got the il moros two seasons ago, the strap stripping was pretty shitty, I just got it replaced though and the new one hasn't stripped at all, but I just prefer the normal buckle with a booster strap instead. I guess its personal preference but thats my two cents

I felt like a could get a really precise fit around my calve with the Il Moro buckle, but the stripping was a major turn off. I'd buy them but I kinda wana pick up 2009 boots (and 2009s have the stripping) for next season, because boots are ridiculously expensive at the begining of the season, and I never have much cash
