Dalbello buckles getting bent AF??

Do I need to lose weight? Heavier-duty boots? Almost all the buckles are the same, bending mainly at the center pin, also bending at the base plate and buckle itself. Started bending as I started really trying nose butters this season.

Dalbello Il Moro MX90 only been used for about 20 days total. Would it be possible to replace these with heavier duty buckles? And where do I find them?

Best pics I have currently, the center pin is actually fully pulled out of one side

Go to the shop you bought them from and order replacement parts thru them. Not sure what’s going on with ur boots I have about 100 days on my pair of dalbello bosses (same shell and buckles as yours) and have had no issues with your problem at all

I've used Dalbellos for like 8 years and middle buckles usually last about 2 seasons. Bottom buckles last maybe 3 and I've never broken a top buckle. Do you find yourself needing to crank buckles down to have control? Could be a fit issue.

Overall fitment is probably not ideal but I’ve been cranking them down since day 1. Just seems weird to me that a freestyle oriented boot from Dalbello is bending so easily, just trying to tighten the boots snug

This is new news to me tho, I wasn’t aware that buckle replacement was common. Good to know

It's been a bit of an issue for some on il moro's and lupo's. We have buckle kits in the shop, lemme know if ya need to buy one since ordering through your local dealer could take some time.

I appreciate the info. Is the buckle kit just the same replacement parts? I’m an engineer and I’m curious about just trying to repair them myself with small but strong hardware rather than the crappy aluminum pins that are bending. I don’t mind losing the little return springs.

It's the standard replacement, same as on your boot now. Heck, try using real hardware and if it doesn't end up working let me know.
