Dalbello boots feedback

like my rampages but theyre heavy as fuck. kinda cold, low volume. minimal shinbang for me.

My rampages fit perfectly out of the box. I love them. Next season will probably be time for new liners becasue the shell is perfectly fine. I have heard some bad things but have had no problems with mine. Plus the white and brown was definitely the sickest color scheme

Yeah I have some Proton 8's that do really well downhill and worked pretty decent in the park.

I am convinced enough to plop down $629 + tax for some Il Moro's this year without even trying them on. None of the local ski shops are carrying a boot that expensive unless requests come in.

Economy sucks + online competition is pushing my local dude out of the equation.

Completely satisfied with my proton 8's. Obviously, not a park boot but they work great all mountain. I would not hesitate about buying another pair of Dalbellos.

They are a great boot, and the fit will vary between model lines. The proton series has a little more volume in the boot, a 100-102mm last depending on model, with a higer volume instep area. They also have a larger heel pocket. The kryptron series is all around a lower volume boot, its obv a different sheel disign, the 3 piece setup allows the boot to have a much smother and equal feeling flex.

Great boot but a finicky fit. I love them, but my buddy, who has the perfect foot for a Dalbello, just didn't like the way his felt with the three buck design. To each his own.

they're narrow.. but they are coming with a new boot this year, the blender. i think its basically like a rampage but wider. seems like its worth checking out.

Im not trying to jump on the full tilt bandwagon, but how do proton's compare to FT's as far as fit? Last I saw FTs were 98mm while Protons were 100 - 102. How much of a difference does that make? The only reason I ask is that no one carries FT in my area so Ive never been able to try them on.

ive ridden both FTs, kryptons, and protons, and there is a significant fit difference betweeen the three.

They make great boots if they fit you. mine held up well for 3 seasons bot ended up having both the toe buckles falling off and also the soles seemed to wear fast and there not replacable. but they have been the best boots i have owned.

that dalbello blender sounds about what i'm looking for. I'd love the il moro or rampage but my foot is a shade over 100mm and i think they'd be too narrow.

can anyone tell me if it is worth getting the narrower boot blown out around the forefoot.

also second question is the stiffness of the boot. I weigh about 200 pounds and generally find boots not stiff enough

Dont worry about the width unless your an absolute pussy who wants a boot made out of sponge. I have pretty wide feet and fit in rampages fine. Sure when I first put them on I could barley get my foot in. After 2 weeks the liners had packed out fully and they are like wearing slippers but with no movement in the boot. Im pretty sure all race boots are 98mm last and you think people dont race because they have wide feet?

Only problems are they are not the warmest, I wear those gay ass boot glove things if its below -15C, the furry liners are comfy but get wet and soggy ( just dry em out every night and there fine ) and the plastic on the soles are really soft and get worn pretty quickly.

Amazing boots though I love mine will buy dalbello again.

thanks for the reminder, i need to see where my boots are, i just got a pair of il moros (t), im so stoked for them to come in
