So i was in whistler last week and went to Fanatyk and asked them if they had any fulltilts in stock and they said no and they werent going to carry them next year either. I asked why and they said that they were going to drop FT because dalbello was an all around better boot with better intuition liners and everyone they have fitted in Dalbello and FT have always chosen the dalbello?

Then i asked my self why Tom and andy dont ride for dalbello if its so much better?

I am still yet to try FTs and I wanted to know what NS thinks?

No hate plz, just wondering

to me dalbello is a better boot. fulltilts are like a cheap shitty construced version. the only thing ive noticed is they are a hell of a lot lighter. but ive never skied ft. so idk..

One ski boot company is not better than another.

It all comes down to what boot fits your foot the best. So go to a boot fitter, try on some boots and choose the one that feels right.

in my opinion the dalbello krypton il morro is the best boot ever, no shin bang or anything, and u can get shin bang with full tilts,,,,,also to answer ur question about tom and andy, they wood ride in racing boots if thats what there getting paid the most for. (also secret....t-wall promodel boot...)

you dont get shinbang because they fit you well, i dont get shinbang in my spk pros but did when i was trying a pair of rampages. no boot is better then the next shell wise, liners can be better like booters compared to hot doggers, but the boot that fits your foot best is the best boot for you.

I didnt make the thread on "should i buy FTs or Dalbello?" i was just explaining that the shop was convinced that dalbello was better and wondered what you guys thought

what about it. and why wont the il moro td (i think) not come up on dabellos freeride website.

Could someone tell me what a 70 or 80 flex corispond to a full tilts number flex rate

Dalbellos are a bit wider throughout, FTs have more of a curve inward in the middle. Both are good boots, but Dalbellos are fuckin bricks on your feet for touring and hiking, and even though "boots don't have swing weight" being heavy can't be a plus anywhere except crud. I had falcon 9s, guns(in a size too big which is what wasted my presious time and money this past painfull season), Il Moros, and now Faclon Cs Pros. I found that for me, the only important thing in all of these would have been getting a good footbed, with a high arch and high stand height(or if it didn't have a high stand height than have a heel lift). If I had known that, I could be in Rossi 110s/120s(those white ones), Solly Falcon series, Dalbello Kryptons, FTs with a tightt fit but skiable, or Lange WC 130s or a bunch of others. Honestly, this exact width thing is important, and I know I am a 98 as a tight fit(even though "98" still varies), but a footbed, then intuitions, are most important in my mind, because then my foot doesn't slide forward at all(I am so flat footed that this was more of a problem for me than most people) and I have a custom fit. Oh and length after that, I am fitted into a 29.0, but I ski a 28 Falcon CS Pro now just because I like a tighter fit. Good luck! and PM me with any questions about what I just said..Il Moros are good, but Solly Falcons are near the same fit(bit tighter heel, bit lower instep) and a better boot IMO.

i used to ski in 130 flex race boots, i dont get shinbang.
it's how they fit.
also, refer to my signature for full tilt opinions

I still ski in a 120 solly flex race boot, which is stiffer than Langes 135 flex. I think that stiff boots are better everywhere, I can't ski soft boots.
