Daily House Music Thread

In response to the daily electro music thread, which I love, I figured I'd make a daily house music thread. I'll try my best to update it daily, but I'd love to hear contributions from other members. I'll kick it off today with one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite duos: Cookies with a Smile, by Dada Life

One of the best artists to make an appearance in 2010 is Avicii... He has dropped some of the best tracks of 2010 including "Bromance" and "My feelings for you" Recently Avicii held a free show in Toronto, and played a preview of his new track unreleased track "Blessed" which I am predicting to be one of the biggest tracks of 2011. Never have I found an artist to release consistent perfection.... He is the best dj/producer I have ever found, and words cannot describe his talent, so let some of these tracks do the speaking:

I can see a little bit of overlap gonna happen here but still a very good idea. Dada life is electro house... Which is what the other thread is. Cookies with a smile has been posted in there I think. Not to be that guy who bitches about reposts.

Here's some acid house/static/images/flash_video_placeholder.png/static/images/flash_video_placeholder.png/static/images/flash_video_placeholder.png/static/images/flash_video_placeholder.png

NS sucks, I added all the videos and they didn't show up.

youtube Avicii songs: Penguin, Fade, Drowning, Seeking Bromance (arena mix), my feelings for you

Also, great new track by Tiesto- Zero 76

I find you've gotta have a strong appreciation for subtleties, love for a driving beat, all that. House is such a huge genre as well, I'm sure you've listened to some of its subgenres without any idea that you're listening to house. Unless you're someone who exclusively listens to rock or rap or country or something like that.

Like said before, that track you started the thread with belongs in that other thread.

Way to start the thread off with a pfffftbd.

On another note...

Testing embedding, posting more later...

A lot of people say Adam & Soha would be a transition between house and trance, which I enjoy both of, enjoy.

This one's blatantly trance, but really really good.

And two more of my personal favorites, mainly because of the funky house style and the groovy baselines protruding from these two.

If you want more just tell me.

And for god's sakes don't bloody quote who posts like mine, a simple @fsscott will do.

A genre expert I'm not, but I do have two different versions of c'mon, by Tiesto. The first is the original, and the second, a Hyper Crush vocal fix:

Holy shit, best thread on NS.

Okay, this is more like trance, but this is one of my favorite songs from the genre.

Some very mainstream, very classic tracks.... I'll post three since I'll be away this weekend. Knock You Out, by Tiesto, is a bit heavier, closer to electro house

Move For Me, Kaskade and Deadmau5, if you haven't heard this before, you don't listen to house, beautiful synths and vocals and a great beat.

L.E.D. There Be Light, Rank1, super steady, very close to trance, very good

def diggin adam k right now, checked out his site a few weeks ago and found out what i've been missing.

i still don't know/can't embed even with fancy editor or w/e so here's the link, def worth a listen:

also big into this:

Now, for some stuff from me. First, a dope remix of Hella Good, OG from No Doubt, by Savoy

Then, some Armin Van Buuren, definitely close to trance but absolutely amazing.

Some Tiesto. The first is pretty much pure trance, the second could be trance or house.

Finally, a Kaskade remix of Lovestoned, by Justin Timberlake. Hope you like it!
