pretty sick weekend....i saw a lot of skiers out on saturday, but even more on sunday, which is good too see...hopefully colder temps later in the week will get the jump line open for next weekend....
 
today was super fun! lotsa boxes and rails, and a mellow little jump plus a fun side booter. who all was out? i was in purple coat yellow pants im super tall and ridin j.o pros
 
I hate that little jump! There are two jibs at the top and that one jump in the middle so everyone ends up trying to hit that jump. I probably got cut off by boarders 8-10 times on Saturday.
 
i was there today, I sucked balls today, but had a sickkk time today for the first day of the season. Was rockin the k2 PEs and the super bright yellow jacket...
 
Park build going on today...the jump line should have a few jumps for this weekend...hopefully we will see a lot skiers out there...

i cant talk about lakeridge since i haven't been there

but Dagmars is really nice 3 jumps which are fairly smooth its not super fast for them though but still sick.

look forward to a complete re build in the big park. We wanted to get as much out as soon as we could for early season (opening) , but now its time for things to flow and make sense. keep your eyes peeled.
 
Whale box should be gone. Probably the least used or liked feature that is currently up in the big park.
 
agreed, its taking up valuable space where better features could go, *cough*down flat down *cough*
 
hey guys, thanks for the input on the park this year, i love the whale, ride it everyday ;) so its not going.... But the down flat down is going in at the top where the flat down rail currently is, and we're re-doing everything hopefully this week and will have a pretty rad setup... with a box line, rail line, and kink rail line, DFD, FDF FD, rainbow... what do you think of the mini park setup? we're going to move the A box, and double barrel in there to make it better flow...

just my opinion on the whale box but no worries

the whole kinked rail run sounds sick. is the flat down going to stay as flat down or be a frame?

are the two rails at the top going to be turned into hop on from the side/ urban style?? because there isnt any like that and there should be.

all the rail lines sound dope as well, that will create better flow in the park because right now it is kind of awkward to hit the features smoothly.

mini park is nice but the double barrel rail at the end does not work you cant get enough speed for it i find.

other than that its all dope. but put more jumps in each of the jump lines!!!

and is the s rail going in this year?
 
was at dagg last night.

set up is getting better and better every day.

the DFD and FDF are now in!

and yes, the jumps are still brutal but hopefully will get better soon.

and someone already mentioned this before, but the shotgun at the bottom of the mini park needs to be moved, you have no speed to hit it.
 
they are supposed to be going in fairly soon form what i hear and they plan to put them in as well.

the new setup of the park looks dope

lots of features and nice flow to it

jump line is getting there as well
 
new setup is sooo dope, so many lines, 30' and 40' jumps in plus dfd and fdf as mentioned, double barrel rail pretty nice to practice spin offs, got some very nice flow to it now :) and the mini park is looking alot better too, but does definately need somethin on that quarter pipe wall IMO.
 
hey so we installed the rainbow rail, shotgun on an up, high bar flat rail, S-Rail, and tomorrow we're setting up the flat down box, A frame box, and shotgun in the mini park, park looks pretty tight. Our jump line is probably the best ive ever seen it, and speed is no longer a big issue. Park is so much better this year because of the hard working crew i got, and our new Piston Bully Park that we got last season, hands down best park cutter on the market! Let me know your thoughts on the setup, Im there all the time, so if you see me dont hesitate to say whats up... i build this stuff for you guys.... (and me.... well mostly me hahaah) cheers

Gonna move that wall ride too sometime... not sure where yet... would like to put it parallel with the hill somewhere....

big ups to all the park staff.

personally i think the barrel bonk should move down to being beside the rainbow rail

it just seems like that part of the park it really open in my opinion

but other than that, the park is amazing and should keep the same setup every year
 
any updates anyone? I am stuck away at school with assignments, and its only been a week and a half and im craving it again.
 
it hasn't really changed much for a while

im not sure the last time you were there but its stayed the same pretty much other than the mini park which they redid and its fairly nice
 
i was at dagmar today, and i gotta say that is the BEST i have seen that park in years by FARRRR.
everything looked set up perfectly, and the landings were nice and steep which was nice to see, even though i couldnt hit any of the jumps lol.
was gonna go to louis in march to ride their park, but i wont waste the gas when there is a park like dags so close to me. STOKED!
o and whats in the water up there? it seems like every kid has gotten 100000x better
 
were getting old sir holland, i was thinking the same thing as you when i was out at the begining this season.
 
Yeah thanks Luc.... It because we got that Piston Bully 400 Park, I cant believe what it can do, I would NEVER ever recommend any other cat for park building! we've recently installed the c rail, and re installed the city rail aka 25 ft flat bar. also added a second take off on the bottom table top, and re shaping top step down, to more of a step upish style jump.... also put in the little double barrel C rail in the mini park. It's actually a really fun jump line, and rail lines galore, if you haven't checked it out in a while, come on out, you won't be disappointed!
 
oh and if you havent already, join the "dagmar terrain parks" facebook group for updates on whats going on... share your vids, pics, comments, suggestions, and hate haha
 
i love the park, best i have ever seen it.

these are just some thoughts of mine,

1) Set up the barrel bonk down beside the rainbow so there is another feature down there because in my opinion there is not much down there and where it is it takes some flow away, but if it was beside the rainbow it would be another feature in that row.

2) The flat down box in the mini park should be moved back to the big park and put beside the flat down rail. its a super fun box and in the mini i personally think it doesn't fit in i guess you could say.

3) put one of the steel boxes in the mini park (there are two of them on before double barrel and one at the end) as a down box setup. just something different but would be super fun feature

4) build up the landing on the rainbow, its not bad now but a rut forms and the landing is gnarly, build it up to the same level as the in run to it.

those are just some of my thoughts that would make it a little different but other than that a huge ups to the park staff and solid work, park looks really nice and it maintained well without a doubt. Every feature is solid as well.

reshaped top booter last night, looks pretty sick, come out and hit it up! reshaping landings on the rest of the booters tonight, should make for a great weekend at the mar! come check it out!!
