A lot more change for Dagmar again this year for the upcoming season! As of recently we have expanded to four parks at the resort and we have a park specific chair, (meaning people with rentals and no helmets are allowed on the lift at all). The two newer parks(turkey shoot and hawks hurst) will be the smaller ones, basic features for riders interested in freestyle riding.

The two parks from last year are still there with changes being done alot of dirt has been moved around the parks.

-The big park jump line will be a 4 jump line this year

-The impound has been widened and the jumpline in it has had dirt added to it

-Airbag will be open right away as soon as there is enough snow for the mound

-we got more new features this year including a DFD rail, Two stair sets, a closeout stair set, a massive water tank, a long fat tube goal post style and a fat horizontal (elbow) kink rail

It would make absolutely no sense for us to do a tow rope for the park, the Big Daddy chair is all you need
 
it true that you guys are putting parks in the far right runs? ive heard from a couple people the those are gonna be tiny parks? if so that would be dope and help out lift lines on busy days and keep the tiny kids out of the park area keep em safe from gettin slapped
 
Yeah Turkey and Hawks Hurst are now 'baby' parks but not all just little features. There will be some cool features in them and a lot of dirt got pushed around on them.

Well it will be about the same at big daddy, more park riders but we lose people on that lift people if you dont have a helmet or if you have rentals, then you can't get on that lift at all.

Just let it ride out and wait till you see what Aaron has planned out for the parks. The new parks are going to be sick, lots of features and stuff to mess around on
 
finally a rumor thats true! sounds dope im excited to see what you guys do with all those rails! any idea when open is? this weekend isnt looking to good weather wise
 
There was talk of this weekend, but yeah weather is crap.

I personally haven't heard anything about a opening date
 
But it's slow and hurts my butt...

and with a rope tow, you could just hop on and drop off at any feature or level of the park. Super awesome and way better than chairlifts.

They also make life a lot easier for snowboarders, so they don't have to strap in and out every run. I understand that it's pointless though because they've already got a chairlift going through the main park area. Maybe if they built a mini park?
 
The weekend of the 14th is more likely than this. Lakeridge only needs about two more nights of snowmaking to open up, so if the temperatures do drop Wednesday and Thursday as planned, an opening this weekend is absolutely possible.
 
Well both -Alpha2- and I are on staff and we haven't heard anything about this weekend, seeing as its basically halfway through the week, its probably going to be the weekend of the 14th

But anything is possible and sooner would be awesome!
 
looks like they are open this weekend and maybe friday! saturday 10-930 and sunday 10-6 i believe. over 20 parks features including s to xl jumps! fuck everywhere else dag wins
 
the dirty dag is claiming they will be open this weekend with 20+ features. Still to be determined if they open Friday but, looks like Saturday and Sunday is a go. check out the facebook page for more info
 
Nvm, facebook update. Park staff look like they've been working hard. Stoked for tomorrow.

I just hope it isn't too busy... there are a ton of people commenting ahah
 
Gonna be a sick weekend, we just did another park build today, 2 parks will be open this weekend, 32 jib features and a couple jumps (35' in the compound)

I was just there all day.super sick setup and it never really got that busy. The jump needs some work though that lip is flat as an asian.
 
We will be open tomorrow. We gave the park a real good rake tonight after closing. whether its worth it, yeah i would say so. park is so much fun. has tons of flow in it
 
That's honestly pretty debatable

I've been at louis 3 times this year so far, and I rode dag on friday night. You can get way more hits in at dag per hour because the features are top to bottom, and they're all pretty quality features.

Louis stuff is definitely setup better, but dags features are pretty fun and the park staff is on their game with maintenance, and the hot laps are a definite bonus
