Dont get them. They are not worth it. The shit I'm going through to get my license back is incredible. I'm sitting in class doing nothing paying these bastards nearly 2 grand for the next 18 months. I know drinking and driving is serious and folks and loved ones die all the time but the state of California can go sick a fat one.

Yep, as the saying goes- it's not a drug test it's an intelligence test. I've been there, had my license suspended immediately even though I was able to plead it down and get it deferred.

Honestly you just gotta factor in Uber as a cost of doing business or your life will be miserable until you figure it out.

The reality is 90 Percent if DUIs are not safety related, they are revenue driven. "Buzzed driving is drunk driving" has been a PSA we see on TV constantly. Well I am sorry but that is false. If you had the choice to get in a car with someone who has had 3 beers or someone who has had 20 beers no one is going to sit there and say the level of risk is the same.
 
Your judgement is as bad as your spelling/grammar (seriously, D.U.I.’s - wtf is that?)

Drinking and driving is inexcusable. You can kill others, not just yourself. It sounds like you’re getting off way too easily. The idea that you’re complaining about a very, very simple punishment shows how little it has taught you and proves that the penalty should be significantly harsher. You suck.

That's not true. People really do get pulled over for bullshit.

Everything from "loud exhaust" to them making up some story that they had reports of a vehicle matching yours. Ive been pulled over plenty of times just because it was late at night or I had out of state plates.

If it was about making the roads safer cops would target merges or people driving without headlights. Instead it's road blocks and speed traps. Hell there's plenty of places that droo the speed down another 10 mph and extent the zone so they cam get more money through tickets.

It's pretty fucked.
 
That's so stupid. Didn't you hear what happened to Ryan Dunn? He got caught drinking and driving a little bit ago and lost his license for a while. I think he quit drinking after that because you never hear about him in the news anymore for being drunk. Thank God he got himself cleaned up.
