D-spin or Cork

What shall i learn first? Will d-spins be easier if i learn corks first? Also in d-spin 720s are you actually only spinning 360?

In both D-spin 7s and Cork 7s you spin 720 degrees.

When you're going to try to cork your spins I would just go for it, pull your left shoulder down and also look down towards your shoulder (if you're spinning leftside) and commit. I wouldn't guarantee thinking "i'm going for a D-spin" the first time you try it. If your first cork becomes a Dspin, well cork less and you have a cork.

from my understanding on d spins a d spin is like an over cork. The way i learned cork was to drop my right shoulder as i spin left and open up my left shoulder. I usualy reach across my body to my boot with my right hand while droping that shoulder and opening up (Bringing up) my left shoulder. If you dont do that you could end up doing a misty depending on how you threw it.

So this is my first attempt. Not sure what i've ended up with some people are saying flat 7 and some people are saying its a d-spin, i'm pretty happy with what i've got though and hopefully i'll be able to put some more style into it soon...

uh, d spin is an archaic name for inverted cork, so i'd say learn corks and just get comfortable until you can go upside down with them.

Wow, whats up kids? Usually everyone on here shit a hate brick any time someone spits out the phrase 'd spin'. I think they look sick as fuck so you should learn them.

you went rodeo on that. instead trying dropping your left shower and spin back towards the lip of hte jump, facing down. your feet shouldn't go behind you in a cork.

pretty sure if you drop your right shoulder spinning left that would send you rodeo or bio. cork would be spin left and drop left shoulder.

that was a rodeo 7. What you want to do is when you come to the lip, give her a nice pop and throw your left shoulder to your binding and then rotate your head over your shoulder to almost act like your trying to look at the tail of your ski, it should send you cork as long as you get that left shoulder thrown towardes your binding

does it work if you drop your left shoulder? because i drop my right also, but i was wondering if you drop left will that send you mroe or less cork? either way thanks haha

I'm going to have to go with D-spin. If you wanted real technical answer it is a cork because it doesn't look like you are 100% inverted. Its just the time the shot was taken maybe you didn't get fully inverted when it was taken or you never fully went inverted, close enough for me though. Either way it is more then most corks.

Am I right?

i would try rodeo 7's then corks then d spins but thats just me ... some ppl do things differently
