Hey i'm looking for cycling shoes for my mom who is an amateur road biker... she started this summer and she's doing 30-50 mile rides about 2-3 times a week. I'm not experienced in this area by no means at all but her bday is coming up and I wanted to get her shoes to go with her bike (she just has cages now)

Cannondale Women's Roam Cycling Shoe $70

Cannondale Womens Carve MTB $100

Diadora Wmns Deko Road Cycling $80

Diadora Wmns Ergo Plus cycling Shoe $140

Diadora Geko Mountain bike Shoe (wmn) $50

Diadora Caymano Multi Purpose Shoe Wmn $50

Not knowing what type of pedal her bike has...

I would recommend Specialized Comp Road. Should run you about 90 bux. Accepts cleats with the SPD-R, SPD and Look/SPD-SL bolt patterns.

just what i was going to say. i sold bikes all summer, my favorite road shoe is def the comp road great value and killer shoe. the footbeds in the SP shoes are awesome. if you want to know more just PM me.

allright, hands down the best pedals out there are crank borthers. There soild and they even look wicked. They cost a bit more then most pedals but you can beat their quality

whatever you do dont get cannondale shoes. they suck huge. i would go with what the other guy said the specialized road comp. specialized shoes are nice. they got all that body geometry shit to

d'oh! I just re-read your original post...

Got brothers or sisters? Have them buy your mom clipless pedals and you get her the shoes.
