Cutting HDPE

I've been looking around, and havent been able to find much about cutting the plastic. What has everyone's experiences been cutting HDPE (I'm planning on using 1/2" thick sheets)? I have a circular saw with a plywood/plastic blade, but I am not sure as to how it will work. Does the plastic cut well or are there significant difficulties?

i think that would prolly work. maybe try shaving a little bit of the end off and see how it works. like maybe and inch or two

i cut it using my table saw. just make sure you cut it outside because it makes a bunch of flakes and its probably not too good for you to inhale.

A very fine toothed blade for a circular saw should work as well as anything. I suppose you could use one of those blades that doesnt even have teeth. Idk if they make em for circular saws but its for cutting metal and you would proly ruin it but it for its original use but it would likely be damn good for plastic. If you want a hack saw I'm sure would work slowly, or a recipro saw with a fine toothed blade.

well i should recieve my HDPE tomorow so i will let you know how it goes cutting it with a regular wood blade and a molding blade
