Custom Skim Boards

What sizes, shapes do you like? Going to start making some this summer. Also, If anyone makes a design that I end up using, They will receive their custom set up fo' free!
Making park boards out of fiberglass, bamboo, and or carbon stringers...
 
i made a shitty one in woodshop last year. good for cruising but couldn't do much else
 
flatland boards or normal boards? i hope youre talking flatland ones cause making a nice regular board is insanely hard..
 
i dont know what the difference btwn flatland and normal is but the ones i am going to build will resemble "zap" boards. it's actually not too difficult if you have the right supplies
 
to make a good normal (wave riding) board is really hard. but good luck dont let some douche on the internet stop you!
 
I hear making boards is hard. don't just make it look like a zap pro or something. check out the boomhower, or better yet, download their catalog and look through it. Are you glassing one or is it just wood?
I need to go skim, finally got a wetsuit. I have an Apex.
 
i you want to do so flatland.. so no wave.. go to www.dbskimboards.com ... they made some very legit skimboard !

i love mine except this summer i destroyed the bottom on some rock jib probably gonna get a new one soon
