Made these custom painted pivots for my partner. Really proud of how they turned out. Tried something new and hoping it’s a little more durable.

These are dope OP, you should upload a tutorial if they work out because a lot of people have been attempting this! Also ignore milfhunter he’s trolling

I am planing on doing another couple of sets so I can make a guide happen but I won’t have any use experience till the snow starts falling in the PNW.

I think it was Montana Can but really what ever quality spray paint and color you have but I also used a matte laquor coat to help prevent chipping and it feels way better than the other times I have done it.

I have my raw PV15’s painted the same way without the matte Varnish/Laquor coat and after a season it is heavily chipped.

I did the same thing this past season, was actually super easy and only took a few hours of hand sanding. They ended up looking fire on my all white Line Visions.

They did a faction collab a few seasons back that was blue/white, as well as a blue world cup like 10+ years ago. You can also get the spx and px 18s in blue this season. I could definitely see blue being one of the new pivot colors next year

It’s not his first time he should know better… and people here aren’t to big of baby’s to call people out on that shit
 
Not to hijack the thread but does NS not have a limit on bans? I’m used to mods on other forums or game servers allowing like one temporary ban and a harsh warning and the next time it’s perma ban and account deleted.

That dude is one of about 3 worthless members that you should pretty much just ignore 100% of the time. Most of NS is legit.
 
I'm a lot less patient... slapped some Krylon from the hardware store on these babies and called it a day.

If you can't find time to do a job right the first time, how are you gonna find time to do it right the second time...? Something like that.

I know they will never do this but that should make it so if you pay extra you can customize them with any colors you want

The toes in those bindings are completely identical to pivot 15/18 toes, if you're a mix and match colors type dude you could easily use those toes with pivot heels
 
I’ve heard this but also heard the opposite. There are some potentially sick color combos if this is really the case

If anyone wants to go halfers on a pair with me... I call dibs on the toe pieces tho, aren't look heel pieces highly sought after? ;)
 
When the paint chips the stock color shows through, I don't think we're ever going to get around that.

You can run the race bindings if you can adapt some wide enough brakes. Going to be a year by year model by model kind of thing. Need like a bin of parts you can mix and match.

Yeah you definitely need to take the time to sand them down, if not the paint wont stick and will come off way easier. I used 150 grit sand paper and a bit of elbow grease and it worked out perfect.
