Cursed ski day

Its a rare Midwest pow day, so we’re out on the hill. We were going all day, and 15 from close we were up on the lift. We watch this guy drop. No edge catches, but he’s out cold and not moving. When we got to the top, we tell the lifty, who radios ski patrol. We ski down, and the patrollers can’t find him, and no one else saw him. On the lift ride up for the last run, our boarder friend says “the last run vibes are officially fucked”. As we get off at the lift, my brother realizes he lost his phone. Since it was pow, it was gone, and it would get groomed into mulch tomorrow. We ski down, and our boot bags were gone. They weren’t in the lost and found either. We are debating whether or not the guy existed. Pleas help.
 
He probably was fine.

Standing up in deep snow with skis still trapped/strapped can be an ordeal. Likely just collecting himself.
 
He wasn’t. He was on a well trodden run, and there wasn’t any powder(it had all been skied off) We yelled multiple times and he didn’t move, and his eyes were closed. Looked back a couple times on the lift and he hadn’t moved

He didn’t fall hard either. Didn’t slap his head and had a helmet on

He was obviously fine once he woke up he stole your shit to pay medical bills.

Well I just fucked myself and ruined my whole season by breaking my thumb. I'm so pissed!
 
Is it jerkoff season? A thumb isn’t required to ski, def not a season ending injury so I assumed your not talking about skiing

Your not wrong, that said, watch out for that soap in the shower, whether a slip n fall or a drop in a public shower, both could result in lifelong problems

Just playin respect the injury foresite , for all I know you may be a surgeon one day
