Anyone else tried it out yet?

This game is pretty damn awesome, the graphics and aesthetic are simply gorgeous and inventive, the gameplay is simple in a pick-up-and-play way, but as it's basically a boss rush game it's also pretty challenging. Played for about an hour and already got 35% completion so it might not be too long, but I'm definitely liking it, especially for the low price.

I'm in a serious game rut. I'm not sure if I'm just getting old and video games no longer hold my attention like they used to, or if there's just not as many good games being put out as there used to be.

I haven't tried it and probably won't, but it's definitely one of the best 20$ games I've seen on steam in a very long time. I'm still stuck on PUBG

Gaming streaks come and go for me, I might have a few years where I only play occasionally and interest is waning, and other times I'm completely in there. Games like Hotline Miami, Stardew Valley, souls-types and MGSV especially come to mind as ones that lit the flame again. Even so I find myself playing old games, the majority of new AA/AAA releases are ass.

Try Fortnite, its somewhat like pubg but you can build shit. The fighting is a lil whack but you get used to it, ts also faster paced. I hated it at first but then I got more into it and I enjoy it now. And its free

AAA has been ass for years, I just can't believe how common the whole loot crate scheme is becoming. It's so fucking stupid to lock features that give you an advantage behind loot crates that you can buy. Even furthermore, those crates give you pure shit 90% of the time. It's like selling gambling to children imo. There's always a way to grind out those same advantages, but it takes ages and people are pushed towards buying crates and gambling for it. Every single major game I've seen in the last few years utilizes this concept. Thank god I never buy those AAA games anyways. It just rustles my jimmies to see

I have a really hard time enjoying fortnite. I do like the faster pace but aiming just feels so wonky and rng compared to pubg. I'm nearly 500 hrs deep into pubg so it's hard to break away from that style of Battle Royale

Yea I feel the same way. I have like 350-400 hours and it's an addiction lol. I get bored of it a lot but no matter what I always end up coming back

I honestly thought PUBG is flavor of the month shit.

Do you guys seriously like it or just play it "because"? It seems like pure shit to me.

It's the first shooter I've actually ever enjoyed. I've been playing it since release. It probably helps that I have a half a dozen other friends who are into it as well. Squad mode in that game can be a blast. Definitely better than solos. I do play it a lot less these days though, maybe 6-8 hrs a week

Maybe it's the multiplayer/friends thing then. I hate MP games that aren't local. I think I'm slowly starting to become the "guy who doesn't get it" but I think modern multiplayer shit is mostly cancer. Shit like DayZ and PUBG are buggy, glitchy pieces of shit but people play and pay for it because something works instead of all of it working. In a way it's nice to see that both are ARMA mods but just can't get behind it.

Now playing FTL.

Not sure if this should be a gaming in general thread, and Jahpow's Conan video I didn't understand, but let's go with general.

Anyone here ever play Undertale?

My latest endeavor is trying to get the RPCS3 emulator to run Skate 3 on my PC. I have a feeling I'm going to be dissapointed/it won't work

Let me know if it does because I've been wanting to find a way to get skate 3 on pc forever

I'll report back on that in a couple days, it's going to take some serious tinkering. There's also this that I saw:http://www.pcgamer.com/watch-this-r...source=facebook&utm_campaign=buffer_pcgamerfb

but it looks to be at least a year or more out from being available

Damn, that looks pretty sick. Physics look a little whack and snappy but I guess they might fix that before release. I doubt there will be anything that will beat the Skate physics and flick input for tricks. I guess the company that made True Skate is making a console game too. Idk if it'll be on pc tho.

I couldn't get the emulator to work with Skate 3. Tried for many hours. The emulator might be advanced enough to run it in a year or so
