the chicago cubs just won their 9th straight and are 38-21 so far..... this is insane wrigleys going crazy. we are 3.5 games up on the cards we're the best team in baseball

can anyone stop this team?
 
jea cubs, i root for them cause my mom's from illinois. maybe my red sox could beat them, but yea go CUBS.
 
still early in the season and 3.5 games isn't that much, but i wouldn't mind seeing the cubs in the world series.
 
jea my cubbies are doing it... it's still really early but our pitching isn't really doing to well no starters are going deep just our run support has been bomb...
 
don't get your hopes up yet remember a few years ago when the mariners won 116 games regular season then lost first round to the yankees. the season isn't even half way done they have a long way to go still
 
yea, dude, and last time they were the best team in baseball this ate in the season was 1908. 100 years ago. 100 year curse. go cubbies.
 
god damn i would take 116 wins again (that 2001 regular season was NUTS) and a flop of the post season, rather than be the worst team in baseball with $117 million payroll.... which is the current way of things.

And the mariners lost to the yankees in the ALCS, not ALDS.
 
not as good as the brewers old retro logo....IMO the most creative and coolest logo i have seen in baseball, its got the ball and glove, and it has the M and B built into one logo...not just because im a brewer fan but i just think its BA...
