i heard they aren't very good, but its fun and you learn alot.

im gonna be a freshman next year and im trying to decide if i should go for it or not

thoughts?

experiences?

ya that sounds pretty cool. my buddy chris is gonna be a freshmen there this year but he raced for like 8 years so hes alright at park

so expensive not worth since you pay out the ass to go there. you pay so much the school should pay you to go skiing and provide free food and rides up anytime you want anywhere you want

Im not on the team or anything but I dunno why you arent interested. Gives you a way to meet a bunch of other skiers and coaching is always a good thing.

its really expensive. id get the rocky mountain super pass in addition to the colorado pass rather then spend a bunch of money for the ski team. its more fun skiing without having to be on a schedule anyways.

..or save a bunch of money and just get the colorado pass- wp is lame and i don't dig copper that hard, plus i can guarantee 99% your friends will only be shredding key/breck/early season abay anyways.

word.

Winter park and the rocky mountain pass are wayyy lame...stay away...dont buy it and get the colorado pass like everyone else does. That way i can ski freshies allll day at mary jane!

heyyy, i'm just trying to help the guy out- if he's a freshman and he doesn't have a car, most of his rides will be going to mountains on the co pass, that's for sure. and too many years racing have turned me way off copper and winter park...help yourself.

Haha i hear ya, the colorado pass is pretty much a necessity because its the one everyone has especially as a freshman. However if possible picking up both is pretty sweet. I just try to avoid key and breck as im not a park skier and hatttte the crowds. Winter park tends to get more snow, fewer lines on the mary jane side, and has better terrain on the mary jane side. I never really venture anywhere else on the mountain.
