Ok hear me out, imagine an app like Slopes that gives you cryptocurrency based on the amount of vertical feet you ski. For example, if you ski like 1k vertical feet you would get 1 coin of this cryptocurrency and to reduce inflation for every inch of snow at all major ski resorts certain amounts of the coins are removed from circulation, maybe like 10 coins per inch of snow. You could then sell your coins for real money. Idk about y’all but I think this is a pretty banger idea, lmk what you guys think

I don't really understand how crypto coins are mined but op definitely does not. Op your coins to give away would have to be already mined by someone, and to support your structure, they would have to be OK with losing tons of money in energy and computing power to mine those coins just to give them away.

It would either run on the binance smart chain or the avalanche network on ethereum. Both networks are proof of stake so no coins would have to be mined like bitcoin and less than 1% of the power is used. All the coins in circulation would be minted up front but only like 10% or something would be in circulation and the rest of the coins would be in reserve to pay people for skiing. Since it runs on another cryptos network my coin would not have to mine anything or compute any transactions. All of that would be handled by the network it already runs on.
