Crowds at SLC Area resorts after XMas?

How bad are they really? The resort I'm from in the midwest it's not uncommon to see shit like this on the weekend and wind up waiting anywhere from 15-30 minutes for a 2 minute run:

I hit up Park City and the Canyons pretty much every year and have been to Brighton and Solitude once or twice. We usually go in mid winter or spring break. I hear crowds are bad after Christmas, which obviously means no ski-right-on lift lines, but how bad do the lines really get? Would it be worth it coming out or am I just going to get frustrated with all the gapers and joeys from Texas?

 
lol. lift lines...i remember those...oh wait no i dont, ive skied utah my entire life!

that being said, if a lift line here gets to a solid 5 minute wait, im bitching and complaining cause its not a common thing
 
Definitely not like what your used to at Perfects. There were only a handful of days all last winter that I had to wait in line and only for a few lifts at that. You should be pretty good coming out around Christmas, hell no matter how long a lift line may get it still beats the hell out of PNS.
 
what the hell? how many PN kids are there out here? like they said, its nothing like perfect, you will hear locals complaining at b-town for anything over a 2 minute wait
 
Agreed, it's never bad, not even around the holidays. If I have to wait more than 3 minutes on any given day it's a surprise. Usually you'll ski right up and there will be maybe 2 chairs loading in front of you.
 
Just be smart about it. If you're at Canyons or PCMR and want to lap the front faces, get there by 9 and go at it for an hour. By 10 things will be getting crowded, so just make sure you're up into the mtn and not stuck down at Payday/Bubble/etc. Those lifts will crowd up but if you're back in Jup/9990 and the back areas you'll be fine.
 
It seems like people from perfects are everywhere in the west. Many times I tell someone my home hill Perfect North, they either tell me they've heard of it, know someone from there, or are from there.

Anyway, I'll be out there from the 27th of dec. to the 31st if anyone's finna ride. I'll be with the family so the parents will stay down lower and I'll probably ride elsewhere with my non-park skiing brother
