But seriously, that would be so scary when you're eight to do it a capella in front of a big crowd. And for whoever the first person to start singing was, good for them. The lady who laughed must have felt like a bitch.

I think her mic went out. Now I'm just wondering, is there are reason why belting out the Star Spangled Banner isn't something people do at sporting events in the States? I mean absolutely no hate, I'm just wondering. Cause at Canadian hockey games if the singer stops singing and puts the mic on the air, the crowd just gives it.

yeah man, his names Joey Moss, he's a dressing room attendant for the Oilers with down syndrome. Back when Gretzky was with the oilers, he was dating Moss's sister and Gretzky hooked him up with a job with the organization. Been there ever since.
 
Yeah, they had her on NPR. She said that she was sad that she didn't get to finish, so they let her do sing the rest on the air.
