personal preference really.
pink iridium for cloudy/night skiing and dark grey for brighter conditions, even though the black iridium has less light transmission than the dark grey

i have both.. personally i like the crowbars better because they have a smaller fit on my face, and it seems to me they dont sag as much as my splices do (no matter how tight the strap is) .. But with the splices you do get more of a peripheral (spelling?) view , and you do notice it going switch ect, Both are great though

This is exactly why I like the Splices better. Crowbars always felt too small on my face and kinda pinched my nose.

both excellent goggles, i personally have all black splices with black iridium lense and replacement HI yellow lens for indoor and flat light ....
i love em to death !
but i suggest you go to a store and try both on and get the one that fits your face !

Splices. Read my sig to find out why.

And I have H.I. Persimmon which is an excellent lens. Much more versatile than H.I. Yellow and Pink Iridium and I prefer it over both. A few weeks ago at Killington it was real foggy, this lens cuts right through it. I was surprised when I took my goggles off how low the visibility was but with them on, it helped a ton.

I have Splices (Black Ghost Text - Fire + Pink Iridium, looking to get a Hi Yellow this year for even flatter conditions (Scottish skiing regularly means less than 20ft vis). I like them a lot and the way they fit, my brother has crowbars and whilst I don't mind them, I prefer my Splices. Better peripheral vision and for me a bit more comfortable. It's really personal preference, go try a pair of both on and see which ones you prefer.

rocked my splices on saturday... seriuosly considering selling my COLLECTION of crowbars.

they didnt smash my sinuses at all which is a problem i typically have with crowbars. that being said im selling these...

I know i know i said im selling my Cbars... but for now i dont need two pairs of splices.

go to a shop and try them both on. Everybody told me to get splices cuz theyre easier on your nose, then I went to evo and discovered the crowbars feel great for me and the SPLICES hurt my nose. its individual.

It's all about your nose...BIG NOSE - Splices/little nose - Crowbars

I personally like the Crowbars better myself, but I don't have a huge honker like my buddy who feels pressure on his nose and sinuses in the Crowbars!
