So i took a gnarley fall on the weekend and got slight concussion and some mad whip lash. in that crash i broke my fire irid lense. im wondering what lense would be better for sunny days/ summer skiing conditions and for not so sunny days. should i get another fire irid or a black irid. i have a lense for terrible lighting days so im all set on that

I have used the G30 lens for all kinds of conditions, it's a bit better for lower light conditions than fire iridium (which I also have), but still not great for flat light. I'd say g30 or just go for black/fire like you said..

fire irid is rated at a 16% tint, and black irid is at 10%
so they are both pretty dark.. it really won't make much difference.

Thats wrong Fire irid is 18% and Black irid is 16%, the difference will be which one performs better in low light, or brings out contrast better in the shade

frick i looked at the sunglass chart instead of the goggle chart.
fire irid is 18 and black irid is 16
