Looking to make some hats, I know there was some awesome forums on how to make a hat or headband but couldn't find it. Can anyone help?
 
Knitting is way easier. reddit's /r/knitting community is awesome.

Ravelry.com is wicked good for both knit and crochet patterns, with a super detailed search engine. Just search "hat" and use the difficulty level filter and some super basic patterns will come up that are designed to teach you to knit.

Before hats, though, necktubes...
