I posted this in the crochet cult but people are slow sooooo my question is whenever i try to make a hat 100% double stitch i get a boob like thing at the top...my pancake is not flat.....how do i get it started so it doesnt boob

yea try to add more stitches initially, maybe loosen the stitch?

how big is the boob? if its just from the first row or two, you should try the two things above.

there are probably other solutions too

why are you trying to make it all double stitches, it will get all wavy. do a round of doubles, then alternate double single, then double single single, and just go on adding one more single for each round....

follow what he said ... because the more singles you use .. the faster it will curve in

no no no...double stitch is a whole diferent stitch.....not 2 single stitches
