Crochet Ring

Hi so i am making a beanie out of yarn around a ring thing i don't know exactly what its called a teacher just let be borrow it and said have fun. Now i have pretty much finished the overall body of the beanie but i was wondering how to finish out the top of it; so if any one knows what i am talking about and how to finish out my hat there is karma up for grabs.

I have the same problem, which is why my hat ended up as a head wrap.

do 9 stitches, then skp one and go to the next. do 9 stitches again. repeat for teh whole row.
then do a row of 8, a row of 7, blah blah blah

Are you using the ring with the knobs on it? If so, just weave a string of yarn between every stitch, then take it off the ring and pull the string tight and knot it.

yeah I'm sorry i didn't specify i am using a ring with exactly 34 knobs about 1 inch long around the perimeter of the ring.

you put the thread through all the holed then pull.At least that's what I think you do. I haven't done it in a while.
