Critique on mini-edit before I make a full one.

I decided to make film this little teaser before I made a full edit. +k if you suggest what I could do to improve/avoid when I film for the proper edit. Also, any tips on lighting would be very helpful as I know absolutely nothing about it.

As a little side note, I filmed this with a small camcorder (canon hf100) and I have been wondering what would make good fluid tripod for it, without being complete overkill, if anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful?

I'll number my list of ideas.

1. You mentioned lighting, there isn't much you can do because of your limited space, but I would reccomend maybe switching the angle of the light and diversifying your angles to match.

2. Assuming your entire edit is on the small feature in poor lighting, switch up the vibe, the song is all up-beat and shit, yet your friends are skating in a dimly lit shelter like structure. Use a little bit more scary/mellow song. I think it'll match better.

As for tripods go, don't do what I did. I bought a cheap $60 because I thought it would be fine for my small DSLR, then it broke after 3 days. Then I bought another $130 thinking it'd be perfect, the legs we're fine, but the fluid head wasn't so fluid after 2 weeks of use. Now I'm stuck asking for ANOTHER tripod head to go along with my already $130 legs. Plus the extra $60 I invested fucked me hard. Seriously, go at least 120-130 for each component (legs/head) and you'll be satisfied.

Thanks a lot man, and no it won't all be on that feature haha, that was just the one that I happened to film. I'll definitely try switching the light around, see what I can produce, thanks again!
