Critique my season edit

Can you guys give me some pointers? Anything helps. I filmed it all on a GoPro HD.

I'd say you have a few clips in there that bring down the perceived skill level of the riders that should be taken out that are a little sloppy or whatever. And also, you're not a production company so don't call yourself one. Especially since you only have a gopro to film with. Keep it up tho it looks good

Thanks! im working on getting the t2i and FCP this summer, I actually make a 30min ski movie every year, not the most intense thing, just a compilation of shots documenting our season in the n.e.k.

I usually type the name of the song along with some common tags like 'skiing' into YouTube and Vimeo just to check first. That works pretty well.

Hate to admit it, but I thought the snowboarding half was better. It flowed really well. The slow motion didn't always look great in the skiing part (you probably know this, but if you're going to use slowmo in your edit, shoot in 60fps-which is r3 in the regular ol' Hero, not sure about the 2, and then conform it down to 24 or 30.) The black and white to color or vice versa looked good for the most part, but was a little overused.

Other than those few things along with what's already been said, you did a nice job with it.
