Critique my newest wedding video

nice job man! i liked the camera movement a lot although i think you got a little carried away with it at times. looks like it was slider with a tripod head for the pans and tilts? and of course glidecam. i think some more tripod stationary shots focused more on framing would work well cut in between a couple of those. kinda like the toasts were shot. the last shot with the moon was dope

one thing i didn't like was the text in the beginning. i get what you are going for but i literally could see just white lines dancing across that part. maybe cut those every two beats or switch it up a lil.

overall pretty good. colors were nice and it looks like you did the best you could with that weird tent setup thing in the shade with the very bright outside. not much you can do there. they will love it tho.

Zac, that was really amazing. Just beautiful shots.

Only thing I would note is 0:50, grade on the skin is a little warm compared to the previous shot. Same with the next shot.

Superb work, as usual.

Nice. I bet they'll really enjoy watching that. Too many wide shots for my liking, though. Not that they'll notice.

Colors aren't always consistent and might be a *bit* warmer, considering the joyfull event it is maybe, but that's up to you.

Good job

great shots, but as someone else said way too much wide angle for my liking and the movement got to be too much. Even though it was smooth shots, they didn't flow for me. Also, do you plan on making them a longer video? Because if this is all you're producing, I'd really try and get some audio and speeches in there

I bet that wind fucked up all the outdoor audio, but there must be some from the reception, maybe J cut that underneath the ceremony a little bit. And in the future adhere to a strict no fatties policy.

Thanks boys for the feedback, I 100% agree with the movement, I got way to addicted to the slider and over used it.

Ill fix the colours up a bit for sure!

I am also making a long cut with speeches.

I think it was a good amount of wide/narrow shots except for the low perspective shot at 1:45. Just looks blown out to me(grainy/no clear focus on anything).* Also, add some vocals to go along with the snipet shots of the speeches. I think that would personalize it a bit more.

All in all, looks great!

*I am not a filmer, never have shot any videos in my life so I don't know if that is acceptable.
